Telemetry's powerful AI assistant can answer almost any question you or your clients may have about their P&L, a separate budget P&L, and the specific customers and suppliers that make up the totals. This demo video above shows the actual responses from Telemetry's AI assistant, however they have been cached to speed up the video. Actual answers may take anywhere from 10 seconds up to a minute to respond.
Here are a few example questions that highlight various capabilities of the AI.
Basic P&L questions about specific line items will return a readout of that requested metric.
Example query: How much revenue was recorded last month?The AI assistant is aware of an associated budget plan listed in the pulldown at the top, so we ask for comparison to budget.
Example query: How did that compare to budget?We can go a level further into the P&L by asking it about customer detail.
Example query: Who were our top 5 customers last quarter?
Taking this a step further, we can ask more complex questions – including asking for a graph as a response. In this instance, we are asking for vendors within a category over time shown in a chart.
Example query: Create a monthly line graph of the suppliers in Software & Apps for the last 6 months.
The AI assistant is great at summarizing the difference between two periods. This is useful for describing to your board or client how current period results differed vs a prior plan.
Example query: What are the main differences between Q2 and Q3?Graphs can also be a multi-step process. Notice this first query will build a chart, but it returns percentages and not amounts.
Example query: Create a pie chart of our top 5 customers this year.So as a follow-up, we can modify by the chart by specifically asking for what's missing.

Telemetry’s AI works on just about any view, not just at the company level. For instance, if we go to a specific sub plan, in this case a departmental segment P&L, the AI will give answers specific to that view.
